Amzone Kiswire Joint Venture
It was an auspicious day on 2nd Oct 2016. A great day for new beginnings. It witnessed the formalization and cementing of a 20 year old working relationship between Amzone International and Kiswire Ltd.
Amzone International Ltd , has been based in the UAE since 1989. It is a regional leader in lifting and rigging solutions in the construction, shipping, ports, marine, and oil and gas industries.
Kiswire, a company valued at $4 billion, has production facilities in Korea, Malaysia, the U.S., Vietnam and China. In addition to these, they are present in 18 countries with 40 factories and 3 R&D centres. They are the world's largest high carbon wire & wire rope producer, for the past 26 years.
A Joint Venture agreement between these 2 leading organizations was signed at the Amzone facility in Saif Zone-UAE. The event was attended by many key opinion leaders from both organizations. The signing document was executed by Mr. MG Saif, CEO Amzone and Mr. Scott Hong, Head Of Strategy And Planning Kiswire.
This Joint venture agreement will lay the foundation for the formation of a new company that will be based out of the Jebel Ali Free Zone Complex in UAE. It will serve as a central hub for the formation of several regional subsidiaries in Middle East, India Region, Africa and CIS regions.
This new organization will aim to be a leader in the market by offering high quality, specialist and industry specific wire rope products. It will also serve to be an important base for rope management services, like certified testing and rigging facilities for customers in this region.
